Tech Crunch: Concerning news from Netflix today. The streaming service reported that in the first quarter of 2022, it lost 200,000 subscribers — its first subscriber loss in over a decade. And its losses are expected to continue, as Netflix forecasts a global paid subscriber loss of 2 million for the second quarter.
This loss comes in behind the company’s previous estimates. The company told its shareholders it expected to add 2.5 million net subscribers during the first quarter. Analysts had been expecting 2.7 million subscribers.
The company explained the loss as being related to a number of factors. Notably, the suspension of its service in Russia led to a loss of 700,000 subscribers. Excluding that, Netflix says it would have instead seen 500,000 net subscriber additions in the quarter. more
Don’t know anything about it.
Closest I get to “streaming” is spending 4 minutes to see a 30 sec bite.

Done Netflix. Done Hulu. Done Amazon Prime Video.
But I’m done with all of that streaming stuff.
(For retirement, it’s gardening, cooking ( 🙂 ), reading, music and kids and grand kids – though not necessarily in that order.)
They’ve been bleeding subscribers since Barack, Mooshelle, Susan Rice, and Meghan and Harry joined Netflix. Nobody wants to watch their woke crap.
End of 2021 they had ~222 million paid subscriptions. Couple hundred thousand sounds more like the ‘churn’ cellular providers see on a continual basis.
I’d quit Netflix but I was never stupid enough to buy it in the first place.
Enough of the queers, transgenders and affirmative action casting!
DISNEY NEXT!
I like Netflix, I found a lot of good shows on there, same with Amazon Prime
How many people ditched it because of Mike’s cuckhold narrating the National Parks show that they have been pushing everywhere?
No one wants to hear Mike’s bitch talk about anything anymore.
