The drug cartels are close allies to the socialist dictators in Latin America. Correa, in Ecuador, was the son of a drug mule and he essentially decriminalized drug trafficking in the country during his reign. The current government is trying to disentangle itself from the criminal organizations, but it is turning into a violent civil war.
That is how the drug cartels and the socialists play the game. They force their opposition to decide if they are willing to pay the ultimate price for freedom. It’s easy to be an armchair patriot, but when the senseless killing and barbarity come close to home and loved ones, most choose to leave the heroics to others, but there aren’t any heroes who aren’t dead, imprisoned or in impotent exile. That explains Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Mexico. There are more teetering on the brink.
Having a weak, enabling, complicit Democrat administration and Congress in power here exacerbates the problem … but that was the plan.

Every elected representative from dog catcher to senator, state and federal, who represent a state bordering Mexico should be fully, intensely, to the deepest possible level, investigated regarding all personal and economic connections.
