Hey Brad… The winter wheat is about 1 ft tall and will be harvested in July….Two days of rain, really good soaking rain, has the corn about 6 inches tall…..corn liquor and wheat beer should be available soon….if they don’t make ethanol with it. When the farmers see their diesel bill for harvest, I think they all might make a bunch of booze…

I’ll stick to Cabernet and a good favored brandy. Taste wise, American beer is just one step above Cajun moonshine.

100 acres of wheat in front of my house, 300 just down the road looking good. Corn is up and the fish are jumping. It will cost a fortune to harvest thanks to FJB.
Question is will the Democrats reap what we sow.

I dunno. There’s some micro breweries producing some really good beer. I think just as good as the Yourapeeing stuff.

+1 for USA micro/craft beer; some *very* tasty brews can be had. American corporate (BIG) beer is just like corporate news, politics, etc: a pale, nearly useless imitation of the real thing.

Stocking up on beer means a 12 pack of Miller bottles for me. That’ll last a year. OTOH I probably have enough Cabs & Pinot Noir on hand to last until I cross over.
