How Do We Get Rid of the FBI?

American Greatness:

President Harry Truman saw the FBI as the seed of a totalitarian cancer it would later become. “We want no Gestapo or Secret Police,” Truman wrote. “F.B.I. is tending in that direction. They are dabbling in sex life scandles [sic] and plain blackmail when they should be catching criminals.” Whether it’s mass unconstitutional spying, interfering in American elections, lying to courts, or entrapping and sometimes framing innocent Americans, the debate over whether we should have an FBI is drawing to a close. Almost every month another informed author calls for the abolition of the FBI. 

So let’s move on to the next question: How do we get rid of the FBI? 

In theory, a properly motivated Congress could defund and shutter the FBI with a simple piece of legislation. Unfortunately, until Democrats and establishment Republicans swallow their fears and wake up to the threat the FBI poses to self-government, the FBI remains above the rule of law and beyond the reach democratic accountability. 

Still, there are incremental steps that could be taken to challenge the lawlessness of this untouchable agency. The winds of public opinion have begun to blow strongly against the FBI making the previously unthinkable possible. Republicans and Democrats should join together to take action, if they still can.

End the FBI’s Counterintelligence Work

There’s a reason why the FBI loves to paint its opponents and political rivals as, “agents of Putin,” or stooges for Russia. Through the Russian collusion hoax, the public learned that the FBI can use a false allegation of a target acting as a foreign agent to spy on political opponents. While the FBI, in theory, was supposed to have probable cause that Carter Page, a figure in the Trump campaign, was an agent of Russia, it lied to the FISA court to conceal Page’s history of providing information voluntarily to the CIA. Through the warrant to spy on Page, the FBI (in coordination with subcontractors for the Clinton campaign) spied on the Trump campaign. Long after the FBI knew there was “no there, there,” it used the sham counterintelligence investigation to engineer the appointment of a special counsel to interfere with the peaceful transition of power.  more here

  3. If the Republicans win both houses, they’d better unify, grow some big hairy ones and defund the FBI! Understanding that any Presidential veto (by Gavin Newsom by then) can be overridden by a two-thirds vote in both the Senate and the House.

  14. For starters before any midterm elections or 2024 Presidential election, states do not have to allow the FBI in. They can throw them all out today.

    By last count there were 28 Republican Governors, 30 Republican Legislatures, total of 23 states with all Republican government. If those 23 states all kicked the feds out and refused to allow them back in, that would neuter the FBI immediately.

    If the Republicans take back the house in the midterms, then the first day they’re all sworn in they can immediately defund the FBI.

    That’s how you get rid of them in a short amount of time. Of course that is counting on politicians to grow a set and actually do what the people want, so I wouldn’t be holding my breath.

    I don’t know what can be done to take back this country, but I do know we aren’t voting our way out, why would anyone think something that has never worked will suddenly work?

    Think about it, how many Republicans have even said anything about the raid? They sent Tim Scott out to say just to let it play out. Soon as more and more people are calling him out you’ll find the establishment playing the race card. The entire reason why they sent him out, because he’s their token black GOP and they’re also telling us screw you.

  18. FBI in the US, RCMP in Canada,we have more in common than you think.
    Read a book about Fifteen years ago written by a Mossad agent who now resides in BC.
    He told of how the FBI and CIA are totally uncooperative with each other or any other agency.
    Just looked up the book but couldn’t find it.
    Most of my books are on Kobo and i have several units.

  19. 1. Establish a new domestic federal law enforcement agency, with the understanding that the FBI is going to be dissolved.
    2. Invite current FBI personnel to transfer to the new agency, with the condition that they must submit to a polygraph before joining and periodic polygraphs while working for the new agency.
    3. Polygraph question: Have you ever participated in a case which is politically partisan.

  21. Get rid of rinos, too bad it’s not that easy.

    I guess though you could play the democrats trick and fire up the crazies with the RINO targets. They seem to always get a slap on the wrist for attacking Republicans. Of course that would mean you had the media in your pocket and since the RINOS and Democrats work hand in hand, doubt you could get them to cooperate.

They’re so terrified they’re ready to sacrifice their first-born to their vile GIVE-ME, I-WANT schemes and to their multitudes of criminal activities which Trump promised to uncover, EXPOSE, and drain the diseased pus out of. Not only is their contrived raid signed off by Judge Renhardt, a reported Epstein child-sex abductor, forced seks servitude of children and women, and participant in the sinister Epstein “island”, but it’s also being used as a method of intimidation against Americans. Funny how they didn’t raid the stinky smelly blm and pantyhose-wearing antifa domestic terrorists nor the Billary Clintons, Schumer, Holchul-Upchuck, et al. Add the raid was also likely co-initiated by the hated and loathsome wart-pocked George Soros who is seeing himself kicked into the next ozone layer along with his collaborators.

    The last time they held the House, Senate, and White House they did absolutely NOTHING – too pusillanimous to even repeal Obola-Care.

    None of em speaking out against the oppressive FBI and IRS.
    None of em clamoring to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments.

  32. Old Racist White Woman, good idea; however where are we going to find actual, not just REPUBLICANS, but REPUBLICANS possessing testicles, to kick them out?
    Even those assholes continuously spout off about “saving our democracy”.
    As if any thinking person would find that acceptable.
