So, are the sheriffs deputizing the citizens to repel invasion? Given enough shipping containers to reinforce the border fence, what are they going to do when Homeland Security just opens the gates to let them in? Could put people in difficult positions…
So? What are these counties doing about the illegal aliens invasion? Is it just talk-talk and waiting for Gov Abbott?
The counties should be sending armed citizens down to the border, with one simple RoE to anyone approaching the border, “I tell you to turn around and go back the way you came. You are being considered a hostile invader. If you do not turn around, if you cross the border, you will be shot. You will not be given aid, or food, or shelter”. Wait two seconds, then shoot. The counties should also be issuing Letters of Marque, basically a “Get Out Of Jail Free” card if they happen to shoot and kill an invading illegal alien.
