The Current Status of Conflict in Ukraine

Conservative Tree House:
An additional perspective on the current status of the Ukraine-Russia conflict from Retired Lt. Col. Daniel Davis.  WATCH:

A strong point made from the mailroom, adds perspective toward why the British are disproportionately taking on the responsibility for the European war machine inside Ukraine.   It has been noted the U.K. government is doing much of the training, arming and support for Ukraine from within the EU.  The question becomes, why was Boris Johnson and the British government so ‘all-in’ with their full-throated military support?

Perhaps the answer is as simple as the London financial markets. “The UK has nothing left but those sketchy money markets and exchanges. The Russians, joking at the sanctions, pricing resources in rubles, working with BRICS, are an existentialist threat to the UK. It shows that the financial exchanges and trading houses based in the UK are paper tigers because they can be easily bypassed. Russia is indeed an existentialist threat to the UK.”

It’s a good point.

  1. I’m torn. Options suck either way.

    A) Russia goes all out and takes Ukraine.
    B) The Ukraine money pit goes on and on like Afghanistan until President AOC pulls out completely in 2036

  2. “… are an existentialist threat to the UK.”
“Russia is indeed an existentialist threat to the UK.”

As opposed to a rationalist, or atheistic, or determinist, or stoicist, or epicurean threat?

If he means that Russia is a threat to UK’s existence he should just say so and quit trying to sound erudite by using words out of context.

“Existentialism” is a philosophy propounded by the likes of me, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Camus, and Sartre: thus an “existentialist” is a proponent of “existentialism.”

    FFS doesn’t anybody read anymore?

  3. True, Brian. I saw that, and I winced. QAnon had a couple of moments like that, and I just couldn’t get past it.

Anyway, It’s been obvious for a while that London is leading Washington around by the nose in the Ukraine wars, ad it makes you wonder who was leading who in the Trumprussia Collusion setup. “Presidential Fleece”, indeed. That is the perfect picture for this thread. Who is doing the shearing of our Presidents?

But when he starts talking about “those sketchy money markets and exchanges” in London, he’d better be careful or he’ll end up lost in Khazaria. There are some things which are not to be noticed.

  4. Jackass Joe about a year ago:
We will not conduct a hasty rush to the exit.  We’ll do it — we’ll do it responsibly, deliberately, and safely.  And we will do it in full coordination with our allies and partners, who now have more forces in Afghanistan than we do.
->> Our diplomacy does not hinge on having boots in harm’s way — U.S. boots on the ground.  We have to change that thinking.  American troops shouldn’t be used as a bargaining chip between warring parties in other countries.
    Whutta BIG pile of SHIT!

Less than a year later we are now mired in Ukraine thanks to Jackass Joe wanting to protect the political Cash Cow laundering machine that is Ukraine while blaming Donald Trump, Republicans, January 6th, Guns, Election Laws, the Unvaccinated, White Supremacy, Racism, Oil Companies, COVID, Putin, Russia, Global Warming and of course hard-working, law-abiding, over-taxed-paying Americans for being “Too Damn Dumb To See Our Success!”
    FJB!

  5. Dirty Dick Blumenthal and RINO hack Lindsey Graham have already informed Volody when they visited that this could be a 20 year windfall for everyone if he plays his cards right.
