California has activated 4 gas-powered emergency generators during heatwave

Pacific Pundit: California will ban the sale of all gas cars by 2035, and is trying to phase them out even quicker. Yet, during this brutal heatwave, California is turning to gas powered generators as they beg their citizens not to charge their electric cars. Several places in California have been over 100F for a week now, and the California “FLEX alert” is advising people to keep their thermostats at 78F. Yea, good luck with that. Now it’s gas powered generators. What’s the matter Newsom? Solar panels or wind mills can’t generate enough energy for the states demands? more

  1. The dirty, little secret about Electric cars is they burn our assets!
Assets of time, money and resources.
I’ve always said that if there is energy buried in the ground, somebody is going to dig it up and use it! It might as well be us… but noooooo… not according to the leftists! So while we’re busy screwing around with EV this and EV that, China will eat our collective lunches burning the coal and oil they have along with ours then beat our ass with a fossil-fueled military.

  2. Imagine being one of those guys trying to maintain and operate one of those power generation sites. One day it’s “prepare for decommission!” and the next day it’s “power it up ASAP!!!!!”.

  3. It is all about control. Electric vehicles can’t go very far, use a credit card at a charging station (so they know where you are, force a cashless society, and have their permission to charge), and know you’ll be near that location for 20-90 minutes….

    What could possibly go wrong?

  4. Question #1:
What is the difference between the Titanic and California?

The Titanic kept its lights on when it sank.

    Question #2:
How can you convert your gasoline-powered car to perform like an electric vehicle?

    Answer:
    1) Switch your 12 gallon-plus gas tank for a four-gallon gas tank.
    2) Permanently Install the equivalent of four to six 150-pound passengers.
    3) Have fun keeping your tank full, driving up hills and believing that you are saving the earth.

  5. In case you haven’t noticed, government has been making wild regulations (auto manufacturing is just one) and expecting FREE ENTERPRISE to come up with solutions for quite a while now. Make cars lighter, more economical by decree, but skimp on the safety you get shut down.
If it weren’t for alphabet agencies, we probably would have flying cars by now.
I predict that shit is going to get worse.
