Some jobs CAN’T be “remote from home”.
I’m an electronics repair tech, and all my parts, equipment, newbuilds, and repair jobs are at WORK (gasp! what a concept!).
Even during the ChiCoof scamdemic, I went in to do my job. Fortunately, we all agreed (all 5 of us total in the office), no masks, no boss-mandated injections (whew!)
My brother works for that company for about 25 years but his job is out of state. Last thanksgiving he said most ppl in NYC do not live there anymore. Why go back to that little apartment after living in Fl, Ga or NC for the last 2 years? The whole family moved a long time ago and they are not going back
