Every year we take our two dogs to see Santa for a picture at our local animal shelter. We bring treats, a tennis ball, their favorite toys, impossible for them to sit still.
These dogs look a bit old, maybe that’s the trick.

Never did Halloween costumes. But last Christmas my youngest better half, who loves our two mutts, bought them Christmas Jamies. As the entire fam damily dove into dress them, I’m thinking this is not good. These dogs are gonna hate this. Wrong. They loved them. Put them back on Xmas morning. What do I know?

One of my Westies, a sweet, vocal little girl, is able to get herself out of a sweater. I don’t know how she does it as I’ve never caught her in the act, but when I put one on her to protect her from the cold she can extricate herself in 5 minutes flat. I’d never be able to get her in one of these costumes.

My Chihuahua will eat all sorts of grass and moss. Won’t touch lettuce.
