Don’t say “transgender,” say “transvestite”? – IOTW Report

Don’t say “transgender,” say “transvestite”?

h/t Brad.

Revolver:

Apparently, the meaning of the word “transvestite” is someone who is “vesting” themselves in the clothing of another gender. That seems to describe the phenomenon much better than “transgender”, which seems to endorse the delusion that some people are “born” into the wrong “gender” body.

Catholic influencer Taylor Marshall encourages us all to use the word “transvestite” instead of “transgender”.

  1. How about “mentally unhinged”?
(can substitute “deranged”, “unbalanced”, or other suitable for “unhinged”)

  2. My thoughts on the Transvestite vs Transgender and why I thought it was a brilliant idea. Transvestite reels them back into the reality of what they actually are with a flair of the innocents of the 80’s. It was funny, a novelty back then. It would piss off the left like no other because we all know how they like their labels. And it’s a damn easy argument to win. Just my take.
