DC: Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert introduced a bill Thursday that seeks to end taxpayer funding of abortions for illegal immigrants, according to a copy of the bill first shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
If passed, the “No Taxpayer Funds for Illegal Alien Abortions Act” would bar Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Health and Human Services (HHS) employees or contractors from transporting illegal immigrant across state lines to get abortions, according to the bill. The Biden administration in November instructed federal officials caring for pregnant unaccompanied illegal immigrant girls to transport them to areas of the country where abortion is legal.
“The Biden administration is unlawfully using taxpayer money to transport pregnant, illegal alien children across state lines for late-term abortions. My colleagues and I have introduced bicameral legislation to end these illegal and horrific policies once and for all,” Boebert said in a statement to the DCNF. more
Seems like a dumb idea. Would be better to encourage the abortion and avoid the anchor baby citizen.

You know the Dems will say that banning those abortions, which the Dems support (the abortions, not the ban), will hurt the women who are raped by the coyotes, whom the Dems support, while illegally entering the country, which the Dems support.
Banning abortions for illegals paid for by U.S. taxpayers is a wasted effort. The number of female illegals seeking abortions is miniscule compared to multi-generatuonal American women seeking abortions.
Illegals don’t have many abortions. Their children die mostly due to harsh. extreme circumstances – neglect, starvation, murder, abuse in large numbers in their countries of origin.
Once illegals arrive in the U.S., they try to have as many anchor babies as possible. Wouldn’t be “prudent” to kill a guarenteed method of permanent residency in Paradise.
What will really make a difference, would be to cut off SNAP or food stamp distribution to illegals. Billions are being spent by U.S. taxpayers on behalf of this criminal class.
It’s time to take a bite out of the Xiden border running crime syndicate. Not a legal U.S. resident or citizen, no food stamps. American citizens should not feel obligated to feed brazen invaders.
