Granted Kevin McCarthy is now the Speaker, but it would really be a shame if a year or two out he’s getting credit for being a kickass Speaker when the reality is that a small group of Patriots made the difference.

Not to defend Mike Rogers, but that wasn’t what I’d call a lunge. In my time, I’ve leaned in toward people and squared off toward people, but if I lunge toward you, you’re going to know the difference. Maybe Congress has different interpretations of such things. As for me, well, I guess my lunging days are mostly behind me, I think. There might be a lunge or two left in me. IDK!

Knew a guy who was a Tea Party candidate years ago. Got to DC and became a Republicrat. When asked why, he responded that regular people didn’t understand how it worked in Washington. Reminds me of Eyepatch. Money / Power is tempting to weak people. They all feed from the same trough.
Rogers should have knocked the moron down & pissed on him.
