Jim Jordan’s ‘weaponization’ panel could review Trump investigators

JTN: The upcoming House subcommittee established to review the political “weaponization” of federal agencies is preparing to take aim at the federal agencies investigating former President Donald Trump, including the Department of Justice and FBI.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy agreed to the creation of the panel, among other concessions to House conservatives, as part of a deal that allowed him to secure enough support to claim the gavel.

Specific language in the resolution creating the committee, empowers it to review “ongoing federal investigations,” according to The Hill, meaning House lawmakers could potentially explore federal actions against Trump.

Both the Department of Justice and the FBI are pursuing investigations against the former president for his alleged mishandling of classified materials. The FBI raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in August of last year, after previously securing his voluntary cooperation in their investigation. The former president had previously complied with a subpoena and permitted agents to examine his personal safe and to remove many documents they had sought. more

They can investigate ANYTHING, right up until they are all replaced by Democrats when the ’24 elections are stolen.

    Just like every other time.

  3. This just might be what exposes the Republican establishment for what they are to people who are too naïve or just plain stupid to recognize the roll they played in the shadows. Trust me, the Demopcrats will have no compunction throwing the worthless fuckers under the bus. If they think they can get any mileage out of it, I promise you they will expose the part the establishment Republicans played in the entire shit show. It will only take a hint that they are going to own this lock, stock and barrel for them to turn it into a bipartisan effort.

Anyone with any degree of discernment already recognize that the dear, dear friends across the aisle have been partners in crime for decades. This right here is going to be some funny shit to see go down. And I WANT to see the most vile, despicable, loathsome Democrats on the committees.

  4. So the weaponized politicized Department of Justice sat on the discovery of highly classified documents in Biden’s office. Two months. Why?
Now we know why they haven’t indicted former President Trump. There’s a limit to how blatantly biased the DOJ can be I guess.
