BPR: With House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) confirming that Democrats believed compromised will lose committee assignments, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) blasted Rep. “little” Eric Swalwell (D-CA) whose recent vote only furthered speculation that he’s “sold out to China.”
Even a cursory glance at the records of Swalwell alongside Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff (CA) and Ilhan Omar (MN) would stand sufficient to question their respective ongoing inclusion in the Intelligence Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee. McCarthy recently touched on that after it was confirmed those legislators would be blocked and he told the press, “If you got the briefing I got from the FBI, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee.”
Saturday Boebert joined Fox News host Dan Bongino for his weekly program “Unfiltered” and spoke specifically to Swalwell’s reported involvement with suspected Chinese spy, Christine Fang, whom he has contended he cut ties with prior to 2015.
“As far as Swalwell, I mean, look at last Congress. Congressman Gosar (R-AZ) was removed from his committee because he made an anime video. So do I think that Swalwell being compromised by a Chinese spy is reason to be removed from the Intel Committee? Heck yes, I do,” she declared. more
