AOC files for re-election

PM: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), has filed to run for re-election only two months after winning her most recent election.

According to documents filed Thursday with the Federal Election Commission, the “Squad” member will run for re-election in New York’s Democratic-favored 14th Congressional District, which she has previously won by wide margins.

In the November mid-term election, the Democratic Socialist firebrand coasted to re-election beating Republican Tina Forte 70.6 percent to 27.5 percent.

Ocasio-Cortez first won her seat in 2018 by defeating Democratic incumbent Joseph Crowley in the district’s Democratic primary then proceeding to win the district’s general election.

A magnet for controversy, AOC was blasted by critics earlier this week after she tweeted on Tuesday: “Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is linked to reduced cognitive performance.”  MORE

  1. Yesterday I read that she was going after Gillibrand’s job, US Senate for NY.

Since dems elect the worst possible people, she is a shoe-in.

Ditto with my state. Kattie Porter, a vile pig of a woman who has never been right in her life is going after brain-dead Feinstein’s job. And the hits keep coming.

  2. Permission granted to enjoy the fruits of your poor decisions. If you want a crappy failure of a bartender to be your congresswoman then who am I to stop you?
Don’t call me when you finally realize your state is circling around the toilet bowl.
