Jordan Peterson announces World Economic Forum alternative

JTN:

Dr. Jordan Peterson announced that he has set up an international consortium with the goal of creating an alternative to the “apocalyptic narrative” espoused at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

About 2,000 people will be invited to the consortium meeting in London in late October through early November, Peterson told podcaster Joe Rogan in an interview aired Saturday.

He said the meeting will present an “alternative to that kind of apocalyptic narrative that’s being put forward at least implicitly by organizations like the WEF.”

The consortium will focus on how to “get energy and resources at the lowest possible cost as rapidly as possible to the largest number of people around the world” and how to encourage “long-term monogamous couples who are child-centered and to make increasing the birth rate part of that policy,” among other things.

  1. Here’s an idea; instead of 2000 all flying in on their private jets further reducing the longevity of the planet (their words, not mine), do everything on ZOOM. The hookers of the world will be pissed and you won’t be able to hock your T-shirts in the front lobby, but the polar bears will be grateful.

I like the idea but I got a few more topics of discussion; the necessity for borders, fiscal responsibility in world governments, cultural preservation, a renewed defense of free speech, and a concerted effort for all governments to innovate and pursue rigorous fossil fuel-based energy production.

  2. “The Case against Man,” and “The Good Earth Is Dying,” by Isaac Asimov are a couple of good on-topic reads.

Takeaway: The carrying capacity of Earth is around thirt-five or forty TRILLION people, or about five-thousand times the present human population.

    Yay!

  3. The Individual and the Nuclear Family have always been the key. Governments need to be very limited, and dedicated to serve those. And nations should be self-serving as well. Then, altruistic people can spend their own resources to help others. And guess what – this will lead to LESS inequality, LESS racism, LESS slavery, and FAR GREATER wealth globally, not to mention a CLEANER environment. 100% guaranteed.
