  1. I might be more of a fan if his ingredients and methods used in his videos matched the written recipes. I am a good cook so reading a recipe that is missing a method or adding an ingredient in the written recipe that wasn’t in the video doesn’t really faze me. I know what the intent is and what the effect of missing or adding an ingredient will result it. However, this is very sloppy quality control for a professional chef and also confusing for people who have limted cooking experience.

  2. It would be nice if I had someone to share a Valentine’s dinner with besides my daughter and my cat and my border collie. We’re having spaghetti with Italian sausage and lots of onions. My late wife was deathly allergic to onions so I couldn’t cook anything with onions in it except if I made it for myself or the kids separately. And because I’m officially retired, I no longer had to deliver flowers for Valentine’s Day this year for the first time in over 20 years.

  3. I know what you mean, Mrs radiomattm. I like the guy’s cooking but he made this look difficult. I also detest how the French are first-and-foremost concerned with how things look. “Cloudy” By rejecting the bits, he loses well over half the flavor. For me it’s flavor first, and appearance last. I don’t eat with my eyes. I eat with my mouth and smell with my nose!!
