JTN: The fierce winter storm rambling down the Pacific Coast is forecast Friday to bring blizzard conditions and as much as 7 feet of snow to the Los Angeles County mountains, east of the downtown.
The National Weather Service in advance issued its first blizzard warning for the county since 1989. And forecasters say the snow accumulation for the mountains could by Saturday reach 8 feet.
Residents of the areas under the blizzard warning have been advised not to leave their homes.
The storm on Wednesday created by big problems in Portland, Oregon, which was hit with 10.8 inches of snow, the most in a single day for the city in about 80 years. more

The various water districts will do nothing to collect it. It’s painful to see zillions of gallons of water flush down the Santa Ana River, among other rivers, right into the ocean.
They don’t want to build de-sal plants and they haven’t figured out a way to pump it down into the aquifer, I presume. The last reservoir was built decades ago in 1979.
Now that we temporarily have enough water, will they take steps to collect and store more water in the future? Not on your life. The “leaders” are united on one thing: make life more difficult for us.

LA County has essentially ZERO means to store water from winter storms. They became reliant on importing water from the Sierra and allowed what little storage capacity they had to deteriorate.
This of course is another manifestation of the DEADLY build up of c02 in the atmosphere.

No!. It comes from NorCal reservoirs, Shasta, Folsom, Orville, etc, etc. They’ll drain are shit dry and fill their meager shit up.
