Federalist: Four Americans who went missing in Mexico last week were taken in a possible kidnapping, according to the FBI.
The agency is seeking public help in locating the four Americans who disappeared on March 3 after they crossed the border from Brownsville, Texas.
“Four Americans crossed into Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico driving a white minivan with North Carolina license plates,” read a statement from the FBI published by Fox News. “Shortly after crossing into Mexico, unidentified gunmen fired upon the passengers in the vehicle. All four Americans were placed in a vehicle and taken from the scene by armed men.” The FBI did not name the four missing individuals. more
Two are reported dead. And the head of the mexican drug cartel, Joe Biden, cannot be reached for comment.

It is quite popular for Americans to go to Mexico for medical procedures and pharmaceuticals. My little sister went to Tijuana to get dental implants that she could not have afforded here.
Unfortunately, the procedures are not without risk, the pharmaceuticals are not without risk, and travel in Mexico is not without significant risk. Still, people will risk it when they feel there is no alternative.
This never happens to me.
