Fewer US corporations adopted rainbow themed logos for ‘Pride Month’ this year

(LifeSiteNews) –– A funny thing happened as the nation braced itself for the onslaught of bright rainbow corporate avatars celebrating “Pride Month” overwhelming social media: Almost none have appeared.

Could it be that corporate America has watched the severe beating Bud Light, Target, and the LA Dodgers have taken both in the realm of public opinion and in their pocketbooks and decided to at least appear to the general public to be sitting out Pride Month this year?

Could it be that boycotts and the near universal public outrage have finally gotten the attention of woke corporate honchos?

  1. I joined a group on FB about Architectural Shaming. Yeah yeah-it’s funny to see random quirky houses from around the world. Anyhoo, someone in the group has taken upon themselves to post pics razzing about a house roof, shingles or whatever but the dominant feature is actually a big ol Pride flag. Today, using Ai, the guy put one wrapping around the Arch de Triumph in Paris. A few people said, “Okay we get it. Enough already. Leave politics out of this group” to which they got pigpiled on that Pride is t about politics…

Whatever. I’m done. I left the group. I’ll check back in July maybe. Proof yet again that Left ruins everything-no matter how small or insignificant.

  2. Both business and social justice are about money. One provides a product or service, the other is about disruption with no useful benefit for the masses, and only serves the chosen few. “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby”

  3. I don’t watch much tv, except TCM, but I will leave the tv on three different channels and “listen” while working on little projects. Last year, Comedy Central and TV Land both had pride colored logos which pissed me off to no end. This year they’ve reversed thought which I have to believe was due to the Bud Light fiasco.

  4. Out of curiosity I searched for ‘non-woke’ ETFs yesterday. Found a few, think I will put some money into one next week. Strive has created several, they are only a few months old most have done well so far.
STRV is fairly large, has gained about 8% since December. STXG is another. ACVF is from a different company. DRLL is energy-focused (also Strive) – I wouldn’t bet on energy now but would as soon as a saw a Republican headed for the White House.
Investors are learning that DEI & ESG are really DIE – doomed to drop. And they care a lot less about appearances than about making money.

  5. LCD,
I’m playing the opposite. The Dylan Mulvaney ETF: Bud, Target and Kohls.

Buying calls/spreads in these beat down companies (NOT shares). They’re due for a pop, then I take my money and run.

Or I lose. But the risk has been reduced, reduce it further with defined loss of a spread, and that’s all we can do is play risk.

Good finds, I did not know such ETF’s existed. Since these ETF’s are less than a year old, some caution is warranted, but they are index based so some safety is built in.

We should remember that those purchasing these investment vehicles are doing the exact same thing as the woke mob. Where they want to own companies that prioritize ESG/DEI principles, these seek to do just the opposite, with no regard to a company’s profits, business model, sustainability, or edge over its competitors.

  7. Boycotting isn’t the answer. Abandoning them never to come back is what this bullshit calls for. It is only by going with the nuclear option that corporations will get the message that more than half of their potential customers have had it up to the gills with having progressive policies shoved in their face constantly.

  8. ^^^^ Nah! You can pull your fed reserve notes out of the market and tie them up in lead, brass, silver & gold…… or put them under your mattress. They won’t be worth anything soon.

I see food, lead, brass, and silver as options….but at $ 1959.39 per ounce gold seems impractical….

Unless you have a good idea on how to divide it.

  10. We went out yesterday to do errands at some big box stores for a few items we can’t get anyplace else and our popular TX grocer that has done drag shows albeit on the DL etc. and there was not one sign of pride anything anywhere. I looked hard for any sign of pride. I didn’t even see anyone walking around celebrating pride. The message has been received and I’m in a 50/50 area by Texas State.
