President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden appeared in Little Rock, Arkansas, Friday for a deposition in a child support case.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that the deposition took place at the Stephens Inc. building.
Hunter Biden, 53, is attempting to lower the $20,000-per-month child support payments to the child’s mother, Lunden Roberts.
The soon to be 5-year-old child is Navy Joan Roberts. Biden initially denied that he was the father, but after Ms. Roberts filed a 2019 paternity suit, which was settled after a DNA test proved he was the father, they agreed on the $20,000-per-month settlement.
Roberts showed up to witness Hunter’s deposition in person, according to the Daily Mail.
Hunter decided to re-open the case last September, hoping to reduce his monthly payments, claiming that there had been “a substantial material change” in his income. He did that while there were ongoing criminal and congressional investigations into his finances and other activities, according to the outlet. more
