JTN: An early Biden administration initiative to push hydrogen as a “roadmap” for America’s clean energy future is now facing some big hurdles including water shortages and potential environmental hazards.
The initiative is part of the $1.2 trillionInfrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that President Biden signed into law during his first year in office with the stated objective of “establishing a clean hydrogen strategy and roadmap for the United States” through such projects as regional hubs to produce hydrogen.
However, the projects require an enormous amount of pure water for hydrogen fuel production. And nine of 33 projects set to receive federal funds are in “highly water-stressed regions,” according to a recent report by Reuters.
One such location is the Gulf Coast port in Corpus Christi, Texas, where city officials are trying to secure up to $1 billion in federal funds to build a clean hydrogen hub in the region. MORE HERE

As far as I know, the only practical ways to get hydrogen is..
1) from your local oil refinery, which the libtards don’t like or..
2) electrolysis of water, which involves LOTS and LOTS of electricity, which we
don’t have.
So either way, biteme’s plan is screwed.

This should be a non-issue; add the brine to the sewage effluent (“fresh” water) you are already dumping into the ocean. Or better yet, use the presumably “clean” sewage effluent for the hydrogen production.
and to bulk transport the hydrogen for purposes of marketing, the most efficient way, presently, to do so is bond it to Nitrogen, in the form of ammonia (NH₄). Other methods, liquification and compression, are too energy consumimg and expensive. After harvesting the hydrogen from the bulk shipped NH₄, they will be left with N. But they’re banning N in the form of fertilizers, saying it is ‘killing the planet’. If this comes to pass,it will be interesting to see their ‘work arounds’ to be able to do it. Weasel words by gaslight. Actually, hydrogen will be the gas they gaslight us with, as they make more money on this upcoming scam.
