It is difficult to understand the depth of the current collective insanity of American society. I say this from the perspective of having studied clinical psychology and a great deal of practical experience at life being of advanced age. Of course the normalizing of deviant behavior, acceptance of activities historically thought to be serious mental disorders and allowing individuals / groups to create and live in lives of fantasy has occurred incrementally but, it seems to have grown at a incredible rate in a very short period of time of late and is perhaps a sign that we are close to total collapse. In contemplation I have deduced that being old isn’t so bad after all.
