Massachusetts Gun Control Bill Stalled Due to Democrats Fighting Each Other

2A News-

Welcome back, everyone. In this update, I want to share some news that made me smile, at least for this weekend. The proposed gun control bill in Massachusetts, which I believe is the worst ever, has been stalled. But it’s not because it was defeated by Republicans. No, it’s because Democrats can’t decide who gets the credit for it.

This bill, known for its sweeping gun safety reforms, has caused quite a controversy. In fact, the National Association for Gun Rights even issued a travel warning to Massachusetts because of it. But now, it seems that the bill is going nowhere, not because it didn’t pass, but because Democrats are too concerned about who gets the credit for passing it.

According to reports, the internal dispute between House and Senate leaders is centered around which committee should hold a public hearing on the bill. House lawmakers want the Judiciary Committee to vet the bill, while the Senate wants the Public Safety Committee to take the lead. They are so focused on getting the feather in their cap for passing gun control that they can’t decide where it should go. more

  1. It’s not “Gun Control”, it’s disarming the opposition.
Same reason they’re trying to convict Trump of anything, to keep him out of office.

“The only reason the government would want to disarm you after 247 years, is because they intend to do something you would shot them for.”

  2. Meeting at the range last week about this, state rep advising us of the particulars: basically it bans everything and makes instant criminals out of all licensed gun owners. Too, it won’t pass constitutional muster inre federal case law and SC decisions, but when has that stuff ever mattered. It is just groundwork for seizures and arrests. We are fighting it.
