Former president Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that “left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates ” to allegedly interfere with the 2024 presidential election.
“The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming. Gee-whiz, you know what else is coming? An election,” the 2024 presidential candidate claimed in a video posted to X.
“They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election. Does that sound familiar?” he alleged. more here

Let’s face it – currently the Democrats plan on running a senile old crook for President and Cacklin’ Kamala as Vice President. These two don’t even excite the Democrats, much less Independents or Republicans. They need mandates and lockdowns to even have a chance at electing Biden – the Democrats need an excuse to prevent Biden from stumbling and bumbling on the campaign trail.
But I think that this issue, and other issues, ignore the very unique aspect of the 2024 election: we will likely have a Presidential election between two men who have already shown us what their administration will look like because both have had four years of Presidential experience. As I see it Trump (and I’m not necessarily all in for Trump at this point) has demonstrated that he will try to do what he promised to do on the campaign trail, and accomplished a lot during his four years despite having the media and the deep state against him. Biden, on the other hand, is clearly not the one leading this nation and is little more than a bumbling stumbling figure head whose main accomplishments are hamstringing and embarrassing the United States.
Also a good way to institute nation wide mail in cheating too.
