  1. Picture of Jagger up next to Biden… Picture of Hagar up next to Bill Clintoon. Our parents were misinformed. Sex drugs and rock and roll won’t age you prematurely. Buggering children or living with Hilry certainly will put the miles on the carcass though.

  2. It’s easy to take pot shots at this, but on a certain level it’s kinda cool. At their level, it doesn’t need/have to be done. I look at it as they want to. They wrote some songs they thought were cool to them and figured what the hell. In the end a musician will play music, because that’s what they’re supposed to do. I think even hobbyist musicians can get behind that ideal.

The jaded attitudes about such endeavors depresses me a bit, but people are gonna be people.

If that was directed at me, I was just stating a personal opinion….the same as you were doing. If that offends you in a way that forces such a petulant retort as what you proffered, then perhaps you needed to be offended. Although, there being two sides to every coin, you could just be an ass. Either way, I wish you and yours a fine evening. 😎🍻

  4. …presented without comment, the actual lyrics to a relevant Rolling Stones song from 5 decades ago…

Yes, star-crossed in pleasure, the stream flows on by
Yes, as we’re sated in leisure, we watch it fly, yes
And time waits for no one, and it won’t wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won’t wait for me
Time can tear down a building or destroy a woman’s face
Hours are like diamonds, don’t let them waste
Time waits for no one, no favors has he
Time waits for no one, and he won’t wait for me
Men, they build towers to their passing
    Yes, to their fame everlasting
Here he comes, chopping and reaping
Hear him laugh at their cheating
And time waits for no man, and it won’t wait for me
Yes, time waits for no one, and it won’t wait for thee
Drink in your summer, gather your corn
The dreams of the nighttime will vanish by dawn
And time waits for no one, and it won’t wait for me
And time waits for no one, and it won’t wait for me
No, no, no, not for me, no, not for me”
“Time Waits For No One”, The Rolling Stones

  5. I’m still waiting for their geriatric tour where they give concerts in nursing homes. Or worse in Indian casinos. The Devil is waiting for them, and he has no sympathy that they’re taking too long to croak. Keith Richards is already dead, his body just doesn’t know it yet.

  6. Heck. I ended up being recruited as a stagehand at the Stones concert in 82 in Naples Italy. Front row. For free. Quite an experience.

I remember a US Marine working crowd control handing Keith Richards a Heineken mid song and he downed the whole thing in one long gulp. Amazing.

I was almost a decade late, but had no choice but to be a Stones fan, was raised on them. Dad hated The Beatles. It was almost personal with him. LOL

And no offense taken. Call it the parry and thrust of a comment section. En garde, pussycat! 😎

  8. I’m north of 70 and they’re still my favorite band. Edgy music with a hook. The music industry doesn’t produce bands with staying power anymore. It’s all about quick money and one hit wonders. The Stones and Muscle Shoals defined Rock & Roll. What’s really amazing is that Keith is still alive and rockin’. Damn, what a constitution.

What’s frightening is the fact that there are very few groups of the caliber of The Stones (and many others) to pick up the mantle and carry on the spirit of rock n roll.

  10. Justine Turdette’s mom GOT PLOWED by a few of them at Studio 54 in the 70’s

And upon further reflection, I think I’ll call up the Black Knight and reimagine the Lionel Richie classic “Runnin’ With the Night” with the theme of ruining this site. We’re gonna title it “Ruining with the Knight”. 🥁
