3. That was fun, thanks MJA. The Halloween movies were never on my list of watchable movies but Donald Pleasence brought a touch of class whenever cast, even in this movie. Personally,I was a big Freddy Kruger fan. He was much more fun.🤗

4. There’s a big difference between being startled and being scared. Too many “scary” movies just startle the audience with sudden bursts of music or slamming a door stuff.

5. I remember seeing the movie multiple times as a young teenager.
   Loved it, scared me good with the music & suspense.
   It was the best Halloween movie ever made.
   I won’t bother reading the criticism.

   I do remember Moustapha Akkad as the producer since his name appeared on the screen when they played the spooky theme music during the opening credits.
   He and his daughter died in a terrorist attack in Amman in 2005.
