Human rights activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali announced Saturday she has abandoned 20 years of atheism to become a Christian as “Western civilisation is under threat” from a multitude of forces that seek its destruction.
The Somali-born former Muslim who endured female genital mutilation (FGM) as a child wrote a column for UnHerd simply titled “Why I am now a Christian” where she outlined the embrace of her new faith and declared “atheism can’t equip us for civilisational war.” more
…they will try very hard to kill her now, and she knows that.
But she also knows that they can only kill the body they have already mutilated.
They can no longer kill her soul.
She’s a child of God now and will one day be with Him in Paradise forever.
So the only thing they can threaten her with now is sending her to Heaven.
May the Lord continue to bless this woman and may she stand as an example of all still enslaved to that counterfeit religion, as that is surely what they fear the most. And may many others come out because of her, and increase God’s Kingdom in hearts once thought godless.
