Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, says that the House Jan. 6 Committee should be investigated, following the release of the Jan. 6 videos.
On Friday, House Speaker Mike Johnson announced that he would be releasing all of the Capitol Hill security footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot online for the public to view.
“When I ran for Speaker, I promised to make accessible to the American people the 44,000 hours of video from Capitol Hill security taken on January 6, 2021,” he said in a statement obtained by Punchbowl News’ Jake Sherman. “Truth and transparency are critical.”

Should be but will anyone have the spine to do it and/or impose consequences or release the J6 prisoners?
Well, Sen. Mike Lee if there is going to be an investigation don’t give that investigation to Republicans. They can’t find their asses with GPS. I can’t think of one of their investigations that has produced results.
Guess I’ll have to take a politicians word for it that the videos have been released. I still can’t access them using different computers, operating systems, networks, phones, tablets, emulators, VPN… it doesn’t matter, no videos for me. I called the Republican Office and left a message, still holding my breath waiting for a call back. They just want me to give up, sort of like how I’ve given up voting for these pricks.
I’d like to order up a big batch of firing squads.

So, Sen. Lee was not privy to the footage prior to the release?
More and more I think the thing that needs to be investigated is the claim of “in the interest of national security”. Because that’s what they’re always claiming when they don’t want to show us something.
If the ‘investigation’ goes as usual, it will be a complete effort at obfuscation and probably have the investigators investigating themselves.
