I have an idea – why don’t we all send the illegals and faux refugees back to their countries of origin, and they can strive to make things better there. In fact, those Americans and Europeans who care so much about them can provide additional financial support and other resources out of their own pockets, to help fix the problems in their homelands.

Here’s an idea. Instead of supplying Zelensky with money, let’s supply him with manpower. We have a surplus of illegals many of whom are violent criminals so they’d fit Ukraine’s needs with minimum training and all Zelensky would have to do is pay the freight.

Was thinking of another idea: Send them to Antarctica with all the materials and tools to build shelters. If they want to live, they have to work. One of the buildings will be a greenhouse to grow all their food. Maybe with a chicken coop attached.
As soon as they cross the border, they are bussed to the airplanes that will drop them off. Oh, and include stationary so they can send letters back home telling all their buddies what a great deal they are getting!

Claudia, I know chickens are pretty tough and can handle down to 10F (in my experience, but maybe lower, I just don’t know). But I was trying to imagine having chickens below the Antarctic circle (above? I should consult Uncle Al) with temperatures as low as -100F. Plus, I don’t know what they’d eat. Ground-up penguins? Seaweed? Air-freighted chicken feed?
This also raises the question of how would one feed chickens on a long space flight. Grow earth worms in composted human poop? Chickens absolutely crave earth worms. Mmmmm. Ah, well…. no…. ok, maybe.

The other, and to me rather huge, part is that these immigrants are being treated like chattel. There is no concern for their individuality, for their future. Sending them home as I suggested earlier at least recognizes their origins and likely some family. Sending them to some random remote country that said we’ll take them if you pay us??? What would be the next step for these people, just sitting in refugee camps for the rest of their lives???
And the same goes for all of the illegals coming to USA. They were invited here by the Biden Administration, their way was paid, whether they came from South America, Africa, Asia, but their anticipation is what??? Just to live off some government dole, in the assumption that their lives will be somehow enhanced by this??? Or were they enslaved first and then brought across the border? There is so much abuse in all of these events – abuse that would never have happened if the borders were well-controlled.

@Brad – oh I absolutely agree. But first of all the borders should have been controlled so that the only way in was through the front door, by applying, as I think we all agree. But the treatment these people are given – and I blame the Bidenministration 100%, and 0bama and UK and Germany too – they are treated as animals, as objects. Of course some of them are vicious animals, but most were sold a false bill of goods. The solution absolutely does not involve them remaining on US soil. But I appreciate that many are here because they were lied to, and deserve at least a return to their homeland rather than get relocated to some random African nation.

I don’t think we do agree. First off, I could care less what happens in Europe. My concern is the USA. So the people crossing our border consist of 78% military aged men ready to cancel our ass out. @Brad – I think we can reasonably say that there are two general types of illegal border-crossers, those you have described and those who are coming with the expectation of being taken care of, who have been invited but who just want to take advantage of free stuff. The question is how many are intentional invaders with ill purpose and how many are moochers – but all need to be expelled. I do agree that many are coming here as soldiers.
