Maye Musk Joins FCC Commissioner in Slamming Biden Administration’s Latest Harassment of Elon

RedState:

The Biden administration has stirred up more controversy with their latest move against Elon Musk.

On Tuesday the five-member Federal Communications Commission affirmed a prior decision to deny Musk’s SpaceX access to $886 million in subsidies as part of a program to increase rural internet service.

The FCC, led by Democrat-appointed chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, claimed that SpaceX’s Starlink “failed to demonstrate that it could deliver the promised service.”

But FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr dissented from the decision, saying, “Biden gave federal agencies the green light to go after” Musk after he took over Twitter/X. He released a statement laying out what he saw as the pattern of Biden targeting Musk with harassment by a variety of government agencies, and that the FCC was adding itself to the list.  more

  1. What’s a Maye Musk? Don’t know shit about that but I know a little about satellite internet. We currently have Hughes Net. Advertised at 5G. Yea whatever. The truth of the matter is, and I’m going to make this up because it’s been a long day and I’m not looking it up, all other Satellite Internet speeds stop at 258 kilobytes a year. StarLink is off the hook. ALL other Satellite internet services require a instillation specialist to mount your dish. The them wip out their proprietary sat locator xray beam and point the dish where it need to be.
StarLink sells you the dish separate. $500.00 bucks. Tells you how to install it. You down load a super secret Sat Locator app on your phone. Position your DISH. OK tell me that’s not huge for disadvantaged areas. Nobody else does that, they rely on trained instillation peeps. Now stop and consider StarLink can run at about 50 times their max speed. What a joke and once again the serfs pay the price. And yes my dish is on it’s way.

  2. That dirty old whore Harris is following her handlers orders, and plotting against the treasonous old scumbag:

VP’s incredible betrayal of Biden as she stokes a full-blown, far-left bureaucratic revolt over his wobbling support for Israel:

It’s like the swamp owns our country, not us. That semen-encrusted whore becoming president will make Biden look like Roosevelt.

  3. I really wanted starlink to work in my area since Comcast is the only option. I mean, it would work, but the speeds suck ass. They say I can get speeds on their best plan of UP TO a quarter gig down and 20 Mbps up. Sorry, but I run a server and stream all kinds of media to many people. UP TO 20 Mbps won’t ever work. A single 4k stream would break it.

  4. ecp, Here’s what I know now in my little world. All other sat providers start with a handi cap and suck. They cost a pretty good amount of money. They never try and improve their service. If you phone their customer service number their main concern is locking you into another annual rate where they can continue to deliver you the same deficient service.

  5. Brad that’s cause they launch stationary satellites the size of buses based on decades old technology. The tech started 10+ years before launch. I wonder if SpaceX would be willing to launch payload for a competitive provider in the coming years given Moore’s law, that could get interesting.

  6. Hughesnet sucks ass. I’m in FAP mode into 3 days of my month. And I run all my shit at 144.

It’s better than Centurylink, or brightspeed, or whatever they call it this week. But garbage is garbage.

They have put, and are still installing fiber all over the place in southern MO, but we won’t know the prices until that’s done.

Verizon fibered up quite a bit of southern MO about 4 years ago but the cocksuckers were quoting 155 a month. That’s just nuts. My first new car was 198 a month. No fucking way old bastards like me are willing to pay that for interwebs.

    155 a month and I don’t even get a shitty car?

My wife always clowns me that I quote prices from 30 years ago.

“Oh, a fucking wristwatch clean and oil should be about 47 dollars!”

    “You are a fucking moron!”

And that’s why I fix my own cars and clean my own watches.

    They can all eat shit.

  7. I’d always rather buy my own tools and do my own work than deal with these scumbags.

Fucking 300 dollars to change a battery in a watch that costs 40 dollars?

    Fuck you.

600 dollars to clean and oil a fucking 75 dollar wristwatch? What the fuck is going on in the world?

Once you know a little bit about wristwatches, or clocks in general, it’s all pretty simple. Until you sprung a mainspring and need a 300 dollar tool. Oh well. I’d rather get the tool and do it myself.

Nobody gives a shit about your shit as much as you do.

  8. Was this retaliation against Musk’s refusing to censor X/Twitter, or did the Biteme administration realize that Elon wasn’t going to let them use StarLink to spy on We The People?

  9. “Musk also blasted the decision, saying it doesn’t make sense since Starlink is the only company ‘actually solving rural broadband at scale.’”

It makes sense when you understand you are an enemy of the (deep) state, run by commufascists.
