I think Yellowstone was the finest vacation place I have ever been in my 70 years on earth. An absolutely beautiful place. You have to enjoy the rustic lodge and travelling on the roads to all areas of the park. Simply an appreciation of the beauty G-d has given us in nature. I encourage everyone to take the time and by all means, stay at the parks lodgings.
Don’t forget about Yellowstone Lake. Many people don’t know it exists.

I love Yellowstone. Drove through twice on cross country trips in the late 80’s. I remember being on the road, no one around, stopping the car and turning off the headlights. Never seen dark so dark!
Visited there for our 10th anniversary, during the off season. Not crowded at all. One day it was spring, next day it was winter. The Lodge at Old Faithfulnis beautiful.
Watching Tourons of Yellowstone makes me rethink ever visiting again, unless it’s in the dead of winter. Too many morons wandering around ruining everything.
Yellowstone is definitely the balls but if you haven’t been to Alaska do yourself a favor and go. I suggest a cruise along the shoreline. don’t miss Katachan or Juneau. did a stint as a Bush pilot and it was amazing!
