I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating… and it gets everywhere.
Every time I go near the woods or frequent areas snakes are likely I always slip my 22 deringer snake shot pistol in my front pocket. I hates snakes!

If you are ever in the woods and suddenly smell cucumbers you are in very close proximity to a male copperhead snake. When alarmed they emit a musk that smells like cucumbers. Don’t doubt this. I’ve experienced it first hand when I was a kid. Luckily, my Dad knew about it and saved me from getting bitten.
