Now remembering the stories from my daughter’s clinicals many years back I recall one in particular about the young mother being more interested in watching child programing on PBS than taking an interest in her baby.
At least the tv was on target with the programming as the girl hadn’t even reached her teenage years at that point. No investigation on how she came to be pregnant.
So by this time I’m sure she’s a grandmother if not great-grandmother.
In AZ us Healthcare workers are mandatory reporters. We can be guilty if we fail to report abuse. This is deliberate. It should be a felony, with the hospital administrators as guilty as the doctor.
So, the hospital is no longer getting paid to report this?
