  1. Left Coast Dan, 20 years ago I was doing construction work as a carpenter in strip malls in Dearborn. Now nobody works down there except Arab owned contractors.

  2. …when I was schlepping suspected abuse cases, I had MANDITORY reporting responsibilities. Surely there’s similar in Massachusetts?

“A mandated reporter who, in his professional capacity, has reasonable cause to believe that a child is suffering physical or emotional injury resulting from: (i) abuse inflicted upon him which causes harm or substantial risk of harm to the child’s health or welfare, including sexual abuse; (ii) neglect, including malnutrition; (iii) physical dependence upon an addictive drug at birth, shall immediately communicate with the department orally and, within 48 hours, shall file a written report with the department detailing the suspected abuse or neglect; or (iv) being a sexually exploited child; or (v) being a human trafficking victim as defined by section 20M of chapter 233.”

    …hmm, looks like it.

    There’s

“A mandated reporter who, in his professional capacity, has reasonable cause to believe that a child is suffering physical or emotional injury resulting from:…physical dependence upon an addictive drug at birth”

…so thar kind of looks like WHAT we’re talking about. So what to do?

“…shall immediately communicate with the department orally…”
…”SHALL” in legalese, has NO wiggle room. You are REQUIRED to do it.

    And WHEN?

    “IMMEDIATELY”.

    to WHO?

    “the department”
    AKA Child Services

    And lay it out a bit MORE;

“within 48 hours, shall file a written report with the department detailing the suspected abuse or neglect;”

…so we’re just going to ignore YET ANOTHER law because, Black, and ignore the PURPOSE of this LAW which is to KEEP BABIES, EVEN BLACK BABIES, FROM BEING ABUSED OR NEGLECTED BY ACTIVE OR RECOVERING DRUG ABUSERS WHO HAVE ALREADY BIRTH INJURED THEM BY THEIR CHOICES.

    …but it gets WORSE.

“Under the new policy, hospitals will also require written consent outside of emergencies before conducting a drug test on newborns or mothers.”

…so great, let’s not even ASK if the infant is born addicted or treat it or anything, lest we make someone feelz bad that the very interest in their child’s health be rayyyciss.

    Jesus wept.

…so Black infants who are damaged by their drug-addled mothers will ALSO be neglected by the hospital, and then if they end up crippled, retarded, or dead because of medical neglect, THEN we’ll get some tests so we can blame Whitey?

I continue to be amazed at how thoroughly they destroyed the institution of medicine, and in how short a time. Once Obamacare made it beholden to Govenment, the handwriting was on the wall, and the lettering was in blood.

And innocent blood seems to be the preferred ink with which to write this satanic story.

And even those who scream racism the loudest are content with that being the blood of children who look like them, as the lives of the infants are of far less value to them than the feelings of the offended…

  3. …from the government’s own Web site…

“Substance use disorders among pregnant women continues to be a major public health concern, posing risk to the child’s development, and imposing socioeconomic burdens on society by increasing needs for medical and social services. Given the crucial roles for the major protein targets of drugs of abuse in shaping brain development it should not be surprising that fetal drug exposures have been linked to a wide variety of brain deficits. In this review, we will focus on: (1) what is currently known about the likely pattern of substance use among pregnant or women of childbearing age; (2) the cellular and molecular pathways by which prenatal drug exposure may influence structural and functional brain development; (3) current studies on outcomes of exposed individuals across various areas of functioning (neurobiology, physical growth, intelligence, executive functioning, behavior, and psychopathology); (4) reviews of current experimental animal models, and (5) current limitations in understanding and potential avenues for future research. While beyond the scope of the current review, untreated drug abuse/addiction also typically coincides with poor nutrition and prenatal care, which increases the risk of obstetric complications and disrupted developmental processes in the fetus. Thus, beyond the specific developmental biology of individual drugs, there are additional common factors that can produce deficits in neurodevelopmental trajectories.”

…oh, and also a higher risk for siezures and SIDS among other things. So the unmanaged baby ends up sick or dead because of feelz.

…but sure, send unstable Moms home with sick Jr and pretend some Black Girl Magic will make it all right.

It’s the antirayyyciss thang to do. /s

  4. Y’know, this could actually work. It’s just like “Idiocracy” but on steroids. All the rest of us have to do is to not do what they’re doing, and eventually, the problem will resolve itself. Just sayin’…

  5. Another click down to Dystopia.

Seems to be clicking a lot quicker lately.

We are witnessing the downfall of western civilization one step at a time.

The crazy part is half of society is pushing for Dystopia whether they see it that way or not.

  6. Now remembering the stories from my daughter’s clinicals many years back I recall one in particular about the young mother being more interested in watching child programing on PBS than taking an interest in her baby.

At least the tv was on target with the programming as the girl hadn’t even reached her teenage years at that point. No investigation on how she came to be pregnant.

So by this time I’m sure she’s a grandmother if not great-grandmother.

  7. In AZ us Healthcare workers are mandatory reporters. We can be guilty if we fail to report abuse. This is deliberate. It should be a felony, with the hospital administrators as guilty as the doctor.
