Teen who mysteriously died had ankles broken and personal items tossed out by the funeral home ‘without authorization’

Blaze:

The family of a teenage baseball star in Tennessee who mysteriously died in July 2020 has accused the Tennessee funeral home of breaking both of his ankles and throwing the clothes he was wearing away on the day of the crash, according to the Daily Mail.

Grant Solomon — who allegedly died after his pickup truck struck him — had both of his ankles broken while at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. The family reportedly discovered the gruesome scene after they asked the funeral home to open the lower half of the mahogany-colored casket during the ceremony.

Solomon’s mother, Angie Solomon, said she almost “fainted” when she first looked inside the casket, According to hospital records, Solomon’s ankles were not injured in the crash. MORE

  1. This is in my backyard, but I do not recall hearing anything about this incident. I did a search and found a local publication which painted a totally different picture of the controversy surrounding Grant Solomon’s death. It reported that prior to his death (under mysterious circumstances) Grant was planning to expose his father for abusing his younger sister. His autopsy revealed that his injuries included a bruise on the upper thigh, a blow to the jaw and a blow to the back of the head – FROM BEING RUN OVER BY HIS VEHICLE?

In looking at this Blaze article, it appears to rely heavily on some publication called The Anglican Watch. I get the impression that this publication may be trying to divert attention from the mysterious circumstances of Grant’s death (i.e., away from his father’s involvement). It wouldn’t surprise me if it turned out that Aaron Solomon (Grant’s father) was a major contributor to the Episcopal Diocese.
