Snip: It’s the same law they are using against Trump in the E Jean Carroll case.
NYPost: A Brooklyn state senator claims the law allowing a rape lawsuit against him to move forward was unconstitutional — even though he actually voted for the legislation and then bragged about it.
In court records filed this month, notoriously hot-headed pol Kevin Parker formally denied the rape allegations against him. But he also went a step further, asserting that the Adult Survivors Act, which allowed the related lawsuit against him to proceed, was unconstitutional.
The now-expired act permitted alleged victims to file civil lawsuits against their accused attackers within a certain window even if the state’s statute of limitations had run out on their claims. more
Ha Ha!
Laws are for thee, but not for me.
It stops being funny when it starts being YOU, eh, KevKev?
I understand the logic behind the “Child Victims Act”. Children are especially vulnerable to repressed memory since they are often abused by people they know. And their brains are not fully developed.
But an “Adult Survivors Act” sounds fishy to me. Probably made up by lawyers wanting the ability to blackmail rich and powerful men. I don’t like it either.
In their effort to get Trump (and as more and more people see the scam for what it is) the left must maintain the facade of a level playing field and thus accept collateral damage.
Ex post facto?
Whutz the democRAT chant?
Oh yeah… “No One Is Above The Law”
Karma is a Bitch
What Goes Around Comes Around
Your Indiscretions Will Bite You in the Ass
No One is Above the Law
What’s Good for Thee is Good for Me
Treat Others Like You Want to be Treated
Well Kev, you only get to pick one. Which will it be?
It’s always hilarious to see a liberal idiot hoisted on his own petard….
