Mexico expected to elect first woman president

Yahoo

Mexico is on course to elect its first woman president this weekend, with two front-runners competing to break the highest political glass ceiling in a country with a history of gender violence and inequality.

Ruling-party candidate Claudia Sheinbaum and opposition hopeful Xochitl Galvez, both 61, have dominated the presidential race in the world’s most populous Spanish-speaking country, home to 129 million people.

The only man running, Jorge Alvarez Maynez, is trailing far behind with just days left before the Sunday vote. more

  1. I remember when Sweden had a feminist mostly female government, for example.
They installed the multiculturalism garbage, allowed unvetted illegals into their country, spent like drunk sailors, raised more taxes.
    Look at Sweden now.
    Some never learn from history.

  2. Forgot to add, I am not against electing women. I am all for a strong principled woman who can truly lead. But electing someone just because of their gender or skin color is something I would never support.

Hillary gave a speech in Mexico City last week.

Excerpts from her speech: OLE AMIGOS…I got me sombrero on….I got a bottle of Mescal in my purse…Why…I even ate the worm when I finished a bottle this morning along with my breakfast of freejolies and tortillittos…later today Bill and I will go to the Bullfights and experience your wonderful culture in person. And, I have to tell you my absoluto favorito artisto is the great Mexican Pablo Picassole.

I’ll promise to be a Presidente for all Mohicans. Uh, pardonisto, gracialas. I meant all Mexicans. Bill and I worked out a deal with the major Cartels last week. I guarantee everyone will profit when I become your Madame Presidente. OLE OLE, AMIGOS…I PROMISE I WILL OPEN THE BORDER UNTIL THERE IS NO BORDER LEFT. MANY MORE MILLIONS OF YOU WILL BE WELCOME TO COME TO AMERICA TO LIVE. I STAND WITH THE MEXICAN PEOPLE FOREVER. OLE, OLE and graciatos my amigos.

  4. Why not! Mexico has been a crap country for most of its existence and she will certainly be successful in helping it to maintain that 3rd world ‘loser distinction’!
