Texas family of taekwondo black belts save woman from being raped, pin down suspect

An entire family of taekwondo black belts saved a woman from being sexually assaulted in Texas after hearing her terrified screams for help and quickly pinning the suspect down.

The An family sprung into action after hearing the victim’s unsettling shrieks from inside a mobile phone store next to their martial arts studio, Yong-In Tae Kwon Do, in Cypress on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Grandmaster Han An, an eighth-degree black belt and South Korean military vet, quickly sprinted outside — trailed closely by his wife and their three kids. more

  1. My TKD master said the best thing to do after using your training to stop an attack whether on yourself or others, was to leave before the cops got there, because they could REALLY hang you out to dry once the guys attorney found out you had formal training.

    Of course that advice was pre-cell phone and pre-cameras everywhere, so not sure you could just fade now.

    But its probably still worth trying.

    …I wonder what the follow-up here will be, how the media will paint Asians who struck a Black man.

    But if they were WHITE I know EXACTLY how it would play out, in the press, in the court, and in the street…

  2. Alex Robinson didn’t mean it. It was a mostly peaceful rape. He was going to college to be an astronaut, and these asians fucked it all up.
