A House Democrat spoke up about the opposition to one of the potential picks for presumptive nominee Kamala Harris’s running mate.
With the current vice president expected to announce her choice soon, Harris is facing a revolt from progressives over potentially giving the nod to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro who happens to be Jewish.
In a recent letter by 50 progressive leadership figures, Harris is urged to bypass Shapiro who despite being the popular governor of a battleground state, has “shortcomings as a national candidate,” they claimed with the unspoken part being that he doesn’t meet with the approval of the Jew-haters who now call the Democratic Party their home.
On Thursday, Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) – who is also Jewish – cut directly to the chase in a post to X, calling out the anti-Shapiro progs. more
Choosing Shapiro could likely cost her Michigan and Minnesota, which she cannot win without.
