Feds Find Million in Cash While Investigating Mysterious Staffing Firm Supplying Haitians to Charleroi, PA Food Factory

(Zero Hedge)—A mysterious staffing firm operating a complex van transportation network supplying low-cost Haitian labor to a Charleroi, PA-based company that operates multiple food packing plants in the area has been at the center of a federal investigation.

On Friday, local media outlet Action News revealed that federal investigators had been investigating staffing firm Prosperity Services, which supplies cheap migrant labor to Fourth Street Foods in Charleroi.

According to Action News, Fourth Street “employs 700 immigrants from 41 countries, many of them Haitians.” The migrants work on conveyor lines in massive ice boxes to slap breakfast bowls and sandwiches together under various private-label brands for big box retailers. more

…I work for a food company (not THAT one) that as a large part of its business does “Red Label” for major food companies. You see, very few of the big brand names you get at the store actually run their own plants now. Running factories is expensive and difficult with HR issues, Federal requirements, DEI madeness, Coof era rules, and ever-changing tech are just SOME of the things actual factories have to contend with, so most find it easier to just write a spec and contract it out. Some will also limit ingredients to select suppliers too, which is also done by contract. NDA’s make sure you never ACTUALLY know who makes what.

If I told you the name of my company you wouldnt recognize it, but if you shop at a grocery store youve probably eaten food from it.

Theres a real possibility I touched your dinner before YOU did.

And its the same with these guys running their plant with illegal aliens and their concomitant hygiene, or lack thereof.

…you genuinely cant tell at the store who ACTUALLY made your prepackaged food, very intentionally so, but you can be sure the name on the box isnt it. Its not nothing as some brands are stricter than others about specifications, suppliers, and overseeing their contractors, but however conciencious they may be, they cant watch everything all the time.

The ONLY way you can be sure of your food is if you make it yourself.

    Sorry.

  2. “federal investigators”? Well that right there makes me feel so much better knowing that the federal government is concerned with my safety. Or is there something much more sinister going on here that they want to coverup?

  3. As usual, the company denies it is using cheap labor.
But when you know that Kamala imported 2000 Haitians into a town of 4000 you can’t help to think something is going on. Prime setup for money laundering.
Claim money paid to citizens but funnel half wages of Haitians and claim the full wage then pocket and pay off non-taxed profits. Hell of a dirty scheme, but when you look at their location in Pennsylvania you know they all voted Democrat. Have to look who they supply, I’m thinking Listeria and Salmonella soon to arrive.
