DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Children’s Hospital reported it’s seen an uptick in cases involving children accidentally consuming cannabis edibles.
NewsNation affiliate WDTN in Dayton, Ohio, spoke with a representative from the National Capital Poison Center who oversees this region — a 30% increase at Dayton Children’s has not gone unnoticed.
“Don’t be afraid of repercussions. We don’t want your kids getting sick at home — especially if it’s something serious,” said Dr. Maryann Amirshahi. more here

It is just the kids finding Mom and Dad’s stash and thinking they found the Mother Lode of “Sweet Stuff” before chowing down on the “Goodies”.

A 30% increase in meaningless. The numbers from the article are 47 last year, 66 so far this year.
I don’t know when Ohio legalized cannabis but, fairly obviously, edibles werent readily available, even on the black market, before legalization. That makes recent increase tough to gauge.
If we can’t abort them, we’ll keep em doped up.
