2017 Donald and Melania walked down the street waving to all Americans. It might be wise to have a restricted environment and a closed door policy for this inauguration. I don’t like that, but it might be wise.

I think he needs to face reality and not endanger his wife’s life doing the same thing this time around. He foremost has a responsibility to her, and secondarily he has a responsibility to us. Voting our asses off for him does us no good if he’s dead. Very unusual times.

We had VIP tickets for the 2017 balls and inauguration and had hotel and air booked, but the timing was tight up against job deadlines so we told ourselves we’d go to the 2020 events. I’d love to be there but we weren’t involved in the 2024 campaign, so…no tickets. (Sad trombone)
I’m mixed about POTUS Trump and his family being in public. On the one hand it stinks that we should be fearful for him (and he for himself), but the unfortunate reality is there are way too many crackpots who would like to think themselves martyrs for the ’cause’. I hate that they should think of him as being afraid of them.

I have “entered” the contest to go see the inauguration I don’t know how many times. I understand that campaigns are the way they are, but I have answered the same “survey” a bunch of times as well.
I would like to give more but I am retired.

Yes. Things are going nuts, sideways. Like Flynn says, they have to kill him. Flynn’s far from a dumb man. I hope to God Trumps abandoned the Secret Service and hired his own private security detail. I can’t help thinking there’s some bad times immediately in front of us. The CIA is going to kill him and blame it on some third world country. That’s their plan. Clear as shit. The man needs to go into hiding. NOW.
