Gateway Pundit:
Democrat Mayor Eric Adams did not rule out switching parties in a recent interview after giving his support for Trump’s agenda on the border.
Formerly a Republican, Adams switched to Democrat in 2002.
The move would make sense as Adams has taken some based immigration positions after four years of Biden’s border crisis.
Previously, Adams was targeted by Biden’s DOJ for alleged involvement in a web of corruption and illegal foreign donations, potentially implicating powerful interests spanning six foreign nations. The charges and an FBI investigation began investigating him after he spoke out against Biden for opening the border and flooding his city with illegal aliens. more here
Don’t want him.
His actions prior to the inundation of illegals in NYC suggest that his principles are rather short-term. Whatever he does toward sending illegals home is great. Whatever he does towards implementing conservative principles – smaller gov’t, reducing the need for Daniel Pennys, getting racial and other grievance classes out of politics – great… but he won’t.
Nothing cures liberalism faster than becoming a victim of their own belief. THAT is what happened to Adams.
He sure seems like a garden variety political opportunist to me. People like him are hard to trust.

I don’t think there’s any shortage of rinos in the Republican party. A zebra can’t change its stripes but that’s not a problem for politicians.
He’s a political wind-sock. We have enough of those already.
When you have been a demonrat all your life it’s hard to trust anyone of them. Just typical, if you can’t get what you want from your political party, just change parties. I’m sure Kinsinger and Liz will accommodate them.
Treat them like any defector, let them in, but NEVER trust them with anything important.
He’s a stone cold racists. He hates whitey. During his campaign him and the brothers got lots of laughs while he was telling stories of how poorly he treated white officers. I have never seen one whit person on his staff. The only decent thing this guy has ever done was support Daniel Penny. He is a survivor I’ll say that for him.
If he is elected president he’ll make Joe Biden look, well, not so bad after all.
