Senate Agrees to Advance Laken Riley Act

GP: The Senate on Thursday voted to advance the Laken Riley Act.

Senators voted to break the filibuster on the Laken Riley Act to greenlight debate on the bill.

A vote to pass the bill is expected next week.

Earlier this week the House of Representatives passed the Laken Riley Act in a 264 – 159 vote.
216 Republicans and 48 Democrats voted in favor of deporting criminal aliens.
