  1. “Article II of the Constitution requires that the president obtain “the Advice and Consent” of the Senate when appointing all principal officers, including members of the Cabinet.”

Still, it does not make it ineffectual, hyperbolic, or a complete waste of time. And, TBH, I prefer them not to be televised. It’s not like Congress has a stellar reputation anyway; barking seals would be taken more seriously.

Not one Dem. Senator is going to support any of Trump’s nominees, so what’s the point? Decorum demands that the nominees remain dispassionate, stoic, and polite, but if not televised, they could speak their mind,”You aren’t going to vote for me anyway, so eat a bag of dicks. Oh, and you are really stupid”.

  2. You cannot insult liars and idiots. They are not capable of understanding (or perhaps it’s admitting) what they say and do is mind numbingly corrupt and stupid. Twitchy does an outstanding job of showing this all the time, and libsoftictok as well. You can throw their exact words right back at them, and it won’t slow them down a bit. It’s like trying to ‘fix stupid’. Not going to happen.

  3. Um…hello! Democrats vote the most vile, loathsome, obnoxious, irreverent, nasty, uninformed, unintelligent, dishonorable, malevolent and not to mention downright butt ugly excuses for humanity to represent them because that is what they identify with.

Well Senator, since you brought up what I have seen on the news: If it were up to me, which it isn’t, I saw where one Party was practically ubiquitous in voting in opposition to a bill that would specifically target and go after individuals involved in child sex trafficking and those who appear to have an interest in protecting them. I would be inclined to do whatever it takes to thoroughly and exhaustively get to the bottom of why that is. I would go after every single last INDIUVIDUAL, irrespective of Party affiliation, but being as one Party is far more represented, I can see how that might have the appearance of targeting a political opponent. It would not be, but I can apreciate how it might appear that way.
