New York City Mayor Eric Adams flew to Florida on Thursday to meet with President-elect Donald J. Trump at Mar-a-Lago just days before the inauguration.
The Democratic mayor did not announce the trip in advance, but according to The New York Times, his aides said the two men would discuss “New Yorkers’ priorities” when they meet on Friday. Both men are born and raised New Yorkers and spent their careers working to better the city, Adams as a prosecutor, Trump as a real estate mogul.
