GP: Over the weekend, Democrats voted to make gun control activist David Hogg the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee. It was a strange choice for multiple reasons.
Hogg is little more than an online activist with no experience in actually getting candidates elected to office. He has no track record one can point to in order to justify giving him this position.
Hogg is also an extremely ‘woke’ choice at a time when the Democrats should be trying to reconnect with voters who flatly rejected the woke agenda in the 2024 election.
Some Democrats know this was a bad choice.

Remember the ‘Blue Dog Democrats’? Somewhat rational, although still generally supporting the Dem party? Yeah, the current set of Dems forced them out. In fact, they won’t allow any rational or even semi-rational people to stand up on the stage. So no, there are no viable candidates among the Dems to actually capture the interest of the typical American.

They Knew they were going to shit the bed on this election and therefore they let all the Whackjobs to the front of the party so that they can get rid of most of them for the next round of elections.

I watched a couple of clips from the convention. Some moronic candidate decided to use her 30 seconds to sing. There was also a clip of some black dude trying to explain the voting process that was convoluted in order to insure that they could get the desired mix of fruits, nuts, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC, people (to make an assumption) on the panel.
