The Justice Department will launch an inquiry into the individuals and networks stealing government property and threatening government employees.

Ed Martin, the Acting US Attorney for DC, sent Elon Musk a letter informing him that he will be launching an inquiry after a referral from DOGE.

“Thank you for the referral of individuals and networks who appear to be stealing government property and/or threatening government employees. After your referral, as is my practice, I will begin an inquiry,” Ed Martin wrote in a letter to Elon Musk. more

  1. We just had the semi weekly meeting of the surrounding business owners meeting here at our shop. We have the best coffee. We were all in agreement that over 50% of the countries tax revenue goes to waste, fraud, and abuse. That’s pretty shocking really.

  2. I’ve got mixed feelings about this. Have you ever believed that the govt stole something from you and that there was simply no way to fight to get it back? Yeah, well so have I. I’d have zero moral qualms about “stealing” from the govt to get even if I thought I’d get away with it.

    I’m sure most of these thieves are simply thieves, but not all of them.
