Reuters: Trump and Zelensky Set to Sign Historic Minerals Deal

Announcement Planned for Tonight’s Congressional Address.

President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are reportedly to sign a comprehensive minerals agreement Tuesday, Reuters reported, citing four sources.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in full damage-control mode after a disastrous Oval Office meeting with President Donald Trump last week, admitting in a Tuesday statement that the meeting “did not go the way it was supposed to.”

The Ukrainian leader, who has long relied on endless U.S. funding under the Biden administration, was reportedly blindsided by Trump’s hard-nosed stance on negotiating an end to the war.

  1. At this point buying mineral rights in Ukraine is right up there with buying a “bridge in New York” or “ocean front property in Nevada.”

It is not worth the paper it is written on, as a similar/identical agreement was made with the Brits weeks ago.

It is unenforceable once the dictator expires.

  2. Zelensky could just as well be signing a $3 bill. The US will be squabbling with the UK and Russia for land rights. I’d be happy if we just walked away from the whole mess.

  3. If this is true it’s dumb. For one why would you trust him?
For two the UK says they already signed that deal with him.
For 3 having Americans working there leaves it open for an attack they would make look like came from Russia and get us into WWIII.

Just wash our hands of all of it.

    Zelensky backpheifengesicht!!

Oh, thank you! A lovely and useful new word!

For others who didn’t know this one, it roughly, very roughly, translates to ‘punchable face.’
