    Let me explain.

    Ive seen this look before. Ive HAD this look before. This is the look you get the very first time you find out for realz that all that crap your parents told you about people being basically good, all that nonsense they tried to teach you in school about “natural man is naturally good”, everything the media says about people just being sweet and kind as long as you are nice to them, even your own natural inclination to WANT everyone to be basically good…is WRONG.

    This is the face of a person who has TRULY learned something about how people ACTUALLY are, and is being forced to digest that information in a way it cannot be denied.

    This is the face of a person fortunate enough to have survived learning a REAL lesson about why you cant argue with a sick mind.

    This is the face of a person who maybe didnt believe what they heard about fire before, and so burned their hand learning for themselves.

    Which is, unfortunately, a good and necessary thing in the formation of an adult. The burned hand teaches BEST. After that, advice about fire goes straight to the heart.

    This is a lesson she will NOT forget, and thats healthy for her. She now knows to keep her distance, keep her head on a swivel, trust NO ONE who approaches her from any angle unknown and unbidden, and that irrational people are unlikely to respond well to rational discussions.

    And this is a critical lesson.

    Until you learn that a crazy person is capable of literally ANYTHING, and a psychopath doesnt always give clues before they attack, you are very vulnerable to getting severely injured or killed by someone with NO fear of God that can murder you and get off scott-free because, crazy.

    I sorrow that she had to learn this lesson the HARD way, as many of us do, but I rejoice that she survived it and is now beautifully primed to LEARN from it.

    That face is the face of a person who has learned one of the BEST lessons about TRUE evil that one who is NOT evil can possibly understand.

    May it never fade that it may inform and protect her in her future dealings with demons, and may the Lord see that she takes wisdom from it without losing the courage that forced her to learn it in the first place.

    You now know what REAL evil can be like, dear young woman.

    Now use that information to continue to fight against it.
